The National Snaffle Bit Association Foundation annually recognizes women across the equine industry for their selfless contributions to the equestrian community (Reaching Out into the Community, or ROC) with the award.

Jennifer is a past NSBA Foundation board member and 2021 chair, and has remained a tireless advocate for the Foundation’s mission. She supports through donations, sponsorship and recruiting new supporters. Jennifer launched the ice cream social at the NSBA World Show for Equestrians With Disabilities participants and continues to support Heroes On Horses and Paws For Awareness, where she proudly helps deliver dog bowls and treats during the NSBA World Show, while promoting the NSBA Foundation. In 2024, she co-sponsored the Equestrians With Disabilities classes at the Appaloosa World Championship Show. Her philanthropy also includes Humane Tomorrow, Alaqua Animal Refuge, Habitat For Humanity and Toys For Tots. Professionally, she is a real estate agent at The McKissack Group and also serves as human resources officer with Hulcher Professional Services.

The award is named in honor of Dianne Eppers, of McHenry, Illinois. Dianne was an original member of NSBA when it began in 1983 and volunteered for the association from its infancy, and brought her business sense to the NSBA office when she served as the association’s executive director from 2007-2020. Jennifer becomes the fourth recipient of the award. Past recipients include Cindy Cosentino, of Omaha, Nebraska in 2022; Lynne Puthoff, of Milton, Ohio; and Pat Clements, of Dallas, Texas, in 2024.

The NSBA Foundation recognized ten finalists for the award during a luncheon at the 2025 NSBA World Championship Show. Finalists for the award are nominated by their peers. To learn more about the NSBA Foundation and its programs, please visit nsba.com/about-the-foundation.
