Equestrian Health Paper Requirements
Show Opening Date: August 13
1. Negative EIA (Coggins) & Health Certificate
All horses are required to have a negative EIA (Coggins) test within the past 12 months and an original Health Certificate issued by an accredited veterinarian within 30 days of the opening date of the show, August 13.
2. Vaccination Requirements (EHV & Flu)
All horses are required to be vaccinated for Equine Herpes Virus and Equine Influenza no sooner than 7 days prior to and no later than 180 days (6 months) prior to the opening date of the show, August 13.
- It is recommended that vaccines be administered by a licensed veterinarian. Documentation from the administering veterinarian must be presented including vaccine name and date administered.
- If vaccination is given by other than a licensed veterinarian, a purchase receipt must be provided along with serial number and expiration date of the vaccine.
- Should a horse be unable to receive vaccination due to an adverse reaction, the exhibitor must provide documentation from their regular veterinarian stating why vaccination is not in the best interest of the horse in question.
Present Coggins test and health papers at the stall office upon arrival to the show.
